| چکیده مقاله |
| This study examines the advantages and disadvantages of Persian and English websites dedicated to the Silk Road and provides insights into their impact on tourism and cultural exchange. Persian websites often emphasize local culture and historical heritage, featuring rich multimedia content and authentic local narratives that enhance user engagement and foster a deeper appreciation of the region’s past. However, these sites face limitations in global reach and technological sophistication, which affect their visibility and overall user experience. Conversely, English websites offer extensive and well-researched content that appeals to a global audience, incorporating advanced design elements and interactive features to increase user engagement. Despite these strengths, they may prioritize commercial tourism over cultural authenticity, thereby lacking cultural sensitivity. Recommendations for improving Persian websites include incorporating multilingual options, enhancing content quality, utilizing advanced design practices, and fostering collaboration with English websites. For English websites, recommendations include enhancing cultural sensitivity, integrating local insights, and developing more interactive features to promote authentic cultural exchange. |
